1978 Pontiac Trans Am This is an original Trans Am.  Bought new by a lady in Monroe, NC @ Griffin Chevrolet in 1978.  Have build sheet.  All original books included.  Inspection receipts included. In 1991 car showed 62,000 miles.  Odometer tripped at 100,000 and inspection from 2003 showing 8,983 miles.  Currently showing 9,291.  So we believe this to be accurate miles to the best of our knowledge.  Car has been sitting for awhile but runs and drives good.  Engine is a 400 V8 and sounds good and runs strong.  Has slight lifter tick, typical for this model. Transmission changes hard, I believe someone has put a shift kit in the car at some point.  The car has been repainted. Pictures enclosed show underneath the car to be very solid.  The paint has a few minor flaws only rust was found in a few small rust bubbles left rear drivers door as seen in the picture.  Paint is shiney and body lines are straight.  The interior is in good condition.  Seats are not torn. Small crack on left side of top dash.  Car is clean and everything seems to be in working order including interior lights.  Tires are nearly new.  I have only test driven this car for a short distance and found no major issues and see no reason the car could not be driven home.  However, it is a 31 year old vehicle, so I will let you be the judge on driving a distance.
